Sir Frank Madge Captain Sir Frank Madge, second baronet, died at his home in East Grinstead, Sussex, yesterday at the age of 65. Frank William Madge, son of P. F. Madge, was born on March 24th, 1897, and educated at Tonbridge. In the First World War he served with the H.A.C. from 1915 to 1917, and was wounded. During the Second World War he was re-employed from 1941 to 1943 with the Royal Corps of Signals. Madge succeeded his grandfather, the first baronet, in 1927, five years after his marriage to Doris Annie, daughter of John Beal, by whom he had four daughters. |
